SANDSTONE SCOUTS

Sandstone Scouts

Sandstone Scouts are young people aged 10 to 14. At age 14 the young people move on to Explorer Scouts.

The Sandstone Scouts are divided into Patrols. Depending on the size of the Troop there may be 4, 5 or 6 Patrols.

In the Sandstone Scouts the senior members take on formal leadership roles as Patrol Leaders and Assistant Patrol Leaders. Developing leadership and team-working skills is a key part of the programme in the Scouts section.

The Scout Troop meets from 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm every Tuesday evening during the school terms of Bickerton and Tattenhall Primary Schools. Camps, trips and other events are organised in addition to the Tuesday evening sessions.

Our Scout Troop is open to boys and girls.
